Account email
If a verification or reset message is not in the inbox, check Junk or Spam, mark the message as “not spam,” and add the sender to contacts. Verification links last 24 hours; password-reset links last one hour.
Dutch voice on Android
Choose Speech Recognition and Synthesis from Google as the preferred text-to-speech engine, install Dutch voice data, and then reopen the app. In SayDutch, go to Me → Settings → Dutch voice and choose the natural Dutch voice.
Install on a phone
On Android Chrome, open Settings → Install app. On iPhone Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen. The Google Play edition is being prepared and uses the same secure account and learning progress.
Signing in is required
SayDutch asks every learner to sign in or create an account before entering. If the account service cannot be reached, check the connection and retry; an already loaded lesson can continue offline only after a valid session has opened the app.
Lost or unsynced progress
Tap “Sync now” before changing phones or clearing browser data. If the connection is interrupted after sign-in, the phone keeps the local learning copy and retries later.
Still need help?
Open the app, go to Me → Account & sync, and note whether the badge says Synced or Offline. Keep passwords, recovery links and API keys out of support messages.
